Our bodies are not our own

The Media - BBC & the World Service

The theme for Pope John Paul's message for World Communications Day 2004, is 'The Media and the Family: A Risk and a Richness'.(1)  Here we present just two papers, one by George Weigel, Senior Fellow, Ethics and Policy Centre, Washington DC, on the BBC's Panorama programme and the other which is a letter from the BBC to United for Life about the BBC World Service's involvement with IPPF's population control programme.  These two papers are included in the Appendix of this publication.
